Kelly Hoffman brings more than 40 years of leadership and operational experience in the oil and gas industry, with a long record of building and scaling successful energy companies. He has served as Chairman and CEO of Rise Oil & Gas since its inception in 2021.
Before co-founding Rise, Mr. Hoffman served as CEO and Director of Ring Energy, Inc. (NYSE: REI), where he led the company’s growth from a market capitalization of under $50 million to over $1 billion in less than six years. Under his leadership, Ring completed over $400 million in acquisitions, raised more than $450 million in public and private equity, and secured a $725 million syndicated credit facility.
Previously, Mr. Hoffman co-founded Arrow Operating Company, increasing revenue by more than 600% before its sale to Range Resources Corporation. Beyond the energy sector, he has served on the boards of two public companies—Joe’s Jeans, Inc. and Differential Brands Group Inc.—overseeing strategic transactions valued at $100 million and $1.38 billion, respectively.

Danny Wilson has nearly 40 years of engineering and operational experience in the oil and gas industry and serves as President, COO, and Director of Rise Oil & Gas.
Prior to co-founding Rise, Mr. Wilson was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Ring Energy, Inc., where he oversaw drilling and development across the Permian Basin’s Central Basin Platform, Northwest Shelf, and Delaware Basin. During his tenure, Ring Energy grew production from approximately 100 barrels of oil equivalent per day to nearly 16,000 Boe/d, drilling more than 300 wells, including 138 horizontal wells, and leading strategic acquisitions totaling $300 million, such as the purchase of Wishbone Energy Partners.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Wilson served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Breck Operating Corp., where he helped build two successful E&P companies and a $100 million royalty business. His responsibilities spanned acquisition, engineering, and production management across the Permian Basin, Mid-Continent, Gulf Coast, and Rocky Mountain regions. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Investor Relations, and Treasurer
Brian Feldott is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in corporate finance, treasury, and capital markets within the energy industry. He joined Rise Oil & Gas as Chief Financial Officer in January 2023 and was later appointed Vice President of Investor Relations and Treasurer.
Before joining Rise, Mr. Feldott served as CFO of East Shore Investments, LLC, and as Treasurer of Newfield Exploration Company, where he managed corporate finance, tax, and risk functions and raised $2 billion in unsecured capital. He also led the financial integration during Newfield’s $7.7 billion merger with Encana (Ovintiv).
Previously, he held senior finance roles at Newpark Resources Inc., where he strengthened the company’s capital structure through public convertible debt and multiple credit facilities, earning the company its first Tier-1 analyst coverage. Earlier, he served as Senior Director of Tax and Treasury at ExpressJet Airlines.
Mr. Feldott is a Certified Public Accountant (Texas) and serves on the board of Integrated Rail & Resources Acquisition Corp., where he chairs the audit committee. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas, an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston, and a Master of Legal Studies in Oil, Natural Gas, and Energy Law from the University of Oklahoma.
Land Manager and Senior Client Advisor
Natasha Kobelan joined Rise Oil & Gas in November 2022 as Land Manager and Senior Client Advisor. She brings over 15 years of land and energy experience across major U.S. basins, including the Permian, Anadarko, Eagle Ford, and Appalachia.
Before joining Rise, Mrs. Kobelan served as Vice President of Land at Roaring Fork Energy, a privately held operator focused on Cotton Valley Sands development in East Texas. Previously, she was Director of Land at Jones Energy, Inc., where she led the Land, Regulatory, and Division Order teams for a publicly traded company operating more than 800 wells and managing 175,000 acres across the Anadarko and Arkoma basins.
Earlier, she worked as Senior Landman at Travis Peak Resources, helping assemble a 50,000-acre position and supporting a multi-rig drilling program in the STACK and MERGE plays of the Anadarko Basin. Mrs. Kobelan has extensive expertise in leasehold and mineral acquisition, title analysis, and transaction negotiation, and is known for her precision, leadership, and integrity in land management.
